I am Deacon Sung Wook Hwang who is currently serving at a beautiful church in Long Island, New York. I was volunteering at New York MOM (Messengers of Mercy) Missionary Team when in 2015 I went to the Haiti medical mission conference through Missionary Seung Don Kim and started to get involved with Jesus Medical Center. I am always get touched and challenged by Haiti Cité Soleil missionaries who share God’s word and treat the sick even in difficult situations and see the changes in the citizen’s lives from their services. My only vision is that as the team unites each of our gifts and skills as members from different churches, we will be able to let the people who have yet to meet Jesus finally experience God’s love and mercy and see the change in their lives. Currently I work at a hospital in Long Island as a Hospitalist Medical Doctor and live with my wife Hyunah and son Juwon.
